    Looking for someone to do a short notice commissio

    Gift for a friend

    A friend of mine, at work, is being moved inside the company. I'd like to give her an original piece of artwork to let her know I'm always there for her, even if we're not in the same office anymore.

    What I'm looking for is a mix of real life and fantasy. She's deeply into horses, and of course I'm into dragons. So, my idea is to have a picture of a pretty mare, not really too concerned with color, with a little green dragon either perched on her shoulder or hovering near by. Definately looking for realism, with a touch of cuteness. :)

    I've got $200 to put towards this, though I don't know if it will be enough.

    If anyone is interested in getting in on this, please note me or even reply here.

    Sometimes, I honestly wish I were an extrovert. I'd look forward to days like today, knowing I'd have plenty of friends who would be looking forward to my company and celebrations. Instead, I'm trying to think of ways to get out of going to dinner with my parents and wishing a certain ONE phone call will happen sometime today.
    I am grateful for the friends I do have; they keep me somewhat tied to the here and now. :) Without that little life line, I'd be gone for months to years on end...O.o hmmm, and where would that differ from now? heh Well, they do help me be less crazy, and that is a good thing.

    Oh joy, yet another birthday

    Mood: Juggling Many Tasks ehhh

    Well, turned 37 today. Glad I don't feel it so much, though the years weigh on me at times. :D

    I've gotten a few great presents, and a few hard knocks. I'd probably be reasonably happy if my forums server didn't decide to take a day off today. *Sigh*

    The loss of a friend

    A friend, and one of our fellow DA members has passed away.

    Mood: Disbelief Stunned, Sad, Empty

    Zwoulfe passed away yesterday (tuesday). I've known him for a couple years now, and will miss him.

    Zw was kind and very friendly. I really enjoyed the times he and I talked.

    May he have peace, love, and happiness in the place he's gone to.

    Almost too many stories.

    Mood: Meditative / Reflective SSDD

    I've gotten encouraging feedback on my "Layla" series, and hope to make more of these little cuties.

    Still gotta finish my BFCC stuff.

    Also working on MoonShadow's stuff.

    Need to write Rogue's story, and the story for Tundra.

    :D I'm certainly keeping myself busy. Wish I wasn't so damn lazy. hehehe
